Who's Your Daddy!
Only about 27 more weeks and I will be a dad! That is as a crazy thing and it all started when Jenn saw the add for "The most advanced piece of technology you'll ever pee on". Just from the title of it I knew it was trouble but she had to go ahead and by it. It flashed a little sign that said "Pregnant". It was kind of like a fortune cookie after a good meal that actually came true.
Now our house is getting cluttered up with little miniature clothes with chubby little pastel green hippos and yellow giraffes. Change tables and cribs are taking over office in our house and Winnie the Pooh dipper bags will soon replace the brief case. Now I understand the verse in the Bible that says "Man born of woman is of few days and full of trouble." (Job 14:1). My child isn't even a day yet.
I hope this teaches all you young married guys that not all technology is good. Just think what kind of person would make a electronic device that you would pee on? This was obviously one of those "Made by a woman for a woman" things which should also come with a big red warning label that reads "Hazardous to men's lifestyle"
On the bright side if we have a boy after about maybe 12 years or so I will not have to mow my lawn, rake leaves or vacuum the house. If we have a girl I will get home made apple pies, jumbo chocolate chip cookies and have fun threatening her boyfriends.
Yep, life is good. Life is like a tray of fortune cookies. You never know what you will get until you open one up. And hopefully you buy your fortune cookies for a fortune cookie writer.
