Trials

Job 23:10
Week #36
But he knoweth the way that I take: [when] he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold.

God knows us. He knows the choices we make and what we are capable of. God does not give more than we can handle. God wants us to be successful. God wants to us to build us up.

In order for us to be built up we need to face challenges in our life. It is what makes us strong. It motivates us to do things we have not done before. If we avoid trials we are avoiding an opportunity to grow. Jesus did not come to get us out of the trials but to get us through.

The trials we face is what makes us like gold. Jesus sent the Holy Spirit to empower us to go through those hard times. He has given us the wisdom we need to know how to handle thinks that come our way and He has given us the Comforter to comfort us when we do not feel like we can make it through.

The thing that we have to remember is the part that says He knows the way we take. God does not just drop us in to the fire. He has examined us. He knows are strengths and what we need. He has this all preplanned. He does not drop us in to something then try to figure a way out for us. He knows the end before we even begin.

It says in Deuteronomy 28:63 says that if we obey the commandments of God that He rejoices to do good to us. If we don’t obey than He in the same way will destroy us. God wants to do us good and if we are obedient to God the trials in our life will only bring out the best in our life. On the other hand, if we are disobedient we will fail the trial.

We need to face our trails knowing that God has given us an opportunity to become more than a conqueror. He has given us a chance to succeed and to advance in our life. He is not giving us an opportunity to fail. We are setup for success.
